Thursday Highlights – JHigh BR09

Our last full day at BR09 has been one of the best so far. Things started bright and early with a trip to Schlitterbahn…except it wasn’t to ride water slides…it was for our baptism service! We had the entire place to ourselves, and Dr. Young and the SBC staff did an amazing job baptizing all of the kids who wanted to raise their flags for Jesus Christ.

Shortly after the service, we all headed back to our condos, ate breakfast, and then had Silent Sounds. Eager to ride the water slides and float the lazy river, we got on the busses again and headed back to Schlitterbahn! Lunch was waiting for us, and then everyone quickly dispersed to have some fun at the water park!

As they were heading to their final worship service, all of the kids who attended BR09 were included in a group photo!

BR09 Worship Experience

Our worship services at Beach Retreat have been amazing this week. Each night has included videos, dancing, inspiring music and powerful messages by Dr. Young. Through these services, many kids are experiencing community worship for the very first time.
